Wow! It's online! My personal blog! Max Trense, a fellow student at the university of Mainz and one of my best friends meanwhile, reorganized our server-apps in order to make www.toadsfalling.de reachable under the proper url. Thank you, Max!

Content and Language

Obviously I decided to write in English. Why that? It's just the international language. If ever I want to say something, that I consider to be important, many more people will be able to understand it. Not that I had something important to say anyway ;-) . But in fact this is no dogma. Every now and then, I write some prose for myself, which is mostly in German.

Prose? That's a really huge word. So, what may you expect, surfing the toad's place? The bunch of things, buzzing around my head, consists of the following:

• IT
• Fun and humor
• Life, love and other contingencies
• Stuff for children and maybe parents too

At the moment, it's not possible to publish your own comments. Blog-spam is a serious problem. Max and I are looking foreward to install some solution, preventing this awful pestillence. This is about to come. So please have some patience with us...

The Toad

It's me, the toad. Of course... The term falling was inspired by a famous motion picture - one of the very best I know. If I had to choose five DVD's for a long trip to some planet, it would be among them: Magnolia.

My name is Pascal Erb. I'm 33 years old by now, married to my beloved wife Gabriele Erb, former Honikel, who gave birth to our wonderful child Jonathan allmost four years ago. If I had to set up a cv, it allways would be some kind of patchwork. It's nothing I'm ashame for. It's just me. Many people around the world live through turbulent stories of success and tragedy - earlier or later. So did I. It's nothing enormous to mess around with. An everyday thing with parents divorcing and a bit of a vagabonds life. There were times, all this made me feel as if my soul was leaking. But I learned to stand up again. Falling is allways an opportunity to stand up again!

Well! As you might have read in the 'Is it about...' section on this page, I will not bore you to death by sobbing about the bitterness of life. Entertainment is much more the thing I aim at. And sometimes I will prick your mind's arse a bit ;-)
